Meet the challenge! The King County Unemployment Insurance Claims TeleCenter is seeking Intake Agents to provide timely, accurate, and quality customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume TeleCenter environment.
The opportunityAs an Intake Agent, you will provide timely, accurate, and high-quality customer service to the public by taking and processing applications for basic and complex unemployment insurance claims. You will answer questions and resolve issues based on unemployment insurance policies and procedures. By providing high-quality, demand-driven services, the King County Unemployment Insurance Claims TeleCenter will meet its target goals and expectations. You will spend most of your time on the telephone interviewing claimants and simultaneously entering data about the claims into a database. Your follow-up work duties include obtaining work history information and conducting some research to determine eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits. You will work as a team to resolve issues and provide excellent service. Note: These are part-time, non-permanent opportunities. While these positions are expected to last up to one year, our office uses these entry-level positions to recruit for our permanent, higher-level opportunities. Full benefits package is given to these non-permanent Intake Agent opportunities upon hire. Schedule: These positions will be full time for the first six weeks. You will be provided with classroom and work experience training. After our peak workload season ends, work schedules will fluctuate from 20 to 40 hours per week depending on business need. TeleCenter hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hire dates: Anticipated hire dates are August 16th, 2009 and October 1st, 2009.

Teaching Job at Bellevue CC

At this time it is necessary to re-open and extend the recruitment for our temporary full-time faculty position in the Media and Gaming program. This will be a one-year appointment for the 2009-10 academic year. Consistent with our faculty Agreement and expectations for all full-time faculty, the position will include a full-time teaching assignment, plus advising, college governance, and professional development responsibilities. Qualified college employees, as well as qualified individuals who are not college employees, are eligible to apply. This key role is responsible for all product and technology engineering for the Family History Department.
