Lead Manufacturing Engineer – OEM ProductsIn this position you lead a group that supports the production of high precision mechanisms, state-of-the-art optical transmission systems and related electrical equipment. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes, instrumentation and equipment, and assisting in resolving production and design issues.

Mechanical EngineerSelf-starting, problem-solving mechanical design engineer for opto-automated applications. Will design high precision mechanisms, optical transmission systems and related equipment for state-of-the-art instrumentation.

Receptionist/Office AssistantProvide part-time receptionist/administrative support to various departments within Applied Precision’s organization. Some work is of a confidential nature. The schedule for this position is four hours daily, from 10:00am to 2:00pm however, hours could vary more and may be required on a moment’s notice.

Research ScientistThe Research Scientist will work with a team to develop new methods in identifying, isolating, and enumerating rare cells circulating in the blood. The candidate must be collaborative as well as being self-starting and energetic.

Service TechnicianA position Service Technician is part of the Life Sciences Service Team. Under general supervision of service manager performs a wide variety of service repair activities.


Software Engineer (RareCyte)We are on a mission to detect, characterize and diagnose cancer at the earliest possible stage through a simple blood test. Our proprietary technology has the potential to become the standard of care for cancer detection and treatment monitoring. We have the opportunity to make a difference while we grow a great company. This Software Engineering position would support the computer infrastructure for development and deployment of an in-vitro diagnostic system.

Sr. Research EngineerInitiates the design, development, execution and implementation of research and development supporting Applied Precision’s Life Sciences products. Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions via combinations of software, mechanical and electrical designs. Plans and executes research using software tools and product prototypes.

Sr. Software Engineer (RareCyte)Initiates the design, development, execution and implementation of research and development supporting Applied Precision’s Life Sciences products. Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions via combinations of software, mechanical and electrical designs. Plans and executes research using software tools and product prototypes.

Test EngineerThe candidate filling this position will develop and execute testing strategies for Applied Precision’s Biotechnology products. The candidate must be self-motivated, self-directed and able to function in a small, fast-paced development team.
